Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer

What are we looking for?

Martindale and Internet Brands are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our New Providence, NJ office. As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to high-traffic sites and help to solve business needs in creative and novel ways. We’re seeking motivated engineers who are natural leaders and who thrive in collaborative team settings. Your code will be running on high-traffic, high-availability production environments viewed by millions of users monthly. Best of all, we have fun and are open to new ideas and approaches!

Working Hours: 6 hour overlap with Eastern Standard Time (8am-5pm EST).

Responsibilities:

Ability to take direction from and collaborate with Lead Developer and Product team members to build highly scalable enterprise applications
Work closely with Technical Project Manager and Product Managers to achieve deliverable goals in 2-week sprints
Work with the design / UI team as needed to provide feedback and guidance
Create and manage integrations with several back-office tools and systems

Requirements:

Experience building web tools and enterprise applications using PHP, Laravel and Eloquent ORM (Required)
Experience with source code repositories and continuous deployment process (Required)
Prior experience working with PostgreSQL . (Highly desired)
Knowledge of data modeling and database design (Highly desired)
Prior experience with JavaScript, CSS, JQuery skills (Desired)
Experience with CMS such as WordPress, Drupal or OctoberCMS (Desired)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
Prior experience with Agile development methodology
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time

Nice To Have:

Familiarity with A/B Testing.
Familiarity with website analytics.
Experience building scalable internet eCommerce and/or social networking applications.
